Project Scope

The Narrows Inlet Project is a hydroelectric project located located within shíshálh Nation territory approximately 75 km northwest of Vancouver and 50 km north of the town of Sechelt situated at the northern end of the Narrows Inlet, in the Tzoonie River valley. The Project consists of three small-hydro generating stations and will have the capacity to generate 33 megawatts (MW).

Responsibilities

We are the designated emergency response team. We are also responsible for connecting this project, as well as the Tyson Creek project, to the main grid with the new transmission lines.

Area & Working Conditions

The working area is a remote, camp-like setting that is only accessible via water. Our team currently operates 2 styles of boats, one for high speed rescue and one for crew/equipment transport.
